European Summer Vacation

R Alexander Fine Art presents "European Summer Vacation." With strict travel requirements still in place within Europe and other international cities, we hope viewers will enjoy the presentation of this mini vacation created via the bridge of the painter's lens.

Within each of these works, the artist aims to capture the beauty of each unique destination utilizing color and light, but also the magic or the "je ne sais quoi" that a new adventure brings about.

Artists like Giner Bueno invite viewers into his Impressionistic world of fishermen working on sunny beaches of Valencia, Spain. Bueno presents a wide array of European coastal landscapes, beautifully capturing the ocean and those that rely upon it for subsistence. His meticulously developed style showcases his artistic expertise in en plein air, or the method of painting outdoors.

Marcel Demagny utilizes and more heavily textured approach in his presentation of French landscapes and florals.  Utilizing pure oil paint and palette knife techniques, Demagny’s Provence and French Riviera are carved into each canvas.  The provincial colors of France are heightened as well as the viewers broadened glimpse into the beauty of this land.

Whether depicted realistically or conceptually, these artists invite viewers to experience travel in a new way and find themselves dreaming of their favorite summer European vacation.
