Supporting Local

Supporting local art and artists in Georgia is important to us in order to advance visual culture in our state. As we move forward into 2018 we strive to beautify Atlanta, including through public art! We recently completed a great project with The Providence Group, a local company developing and implementing homes in Georgia. Looking for the perfect sculpture to place in a new townhome community, land manager Will Harper requested to view sculpture created by local artist Gregory Johnson. We were thrilled to be a part of the the project!

We installed the project in Suwanee, GA in December 2017. Greg graciously allowed a tour of his home studio in Cumming, GA where the client reviewed several of Greg's sculpture, including highlights such as "Plume" and "Reach". Will selected "Splash" from several sculptures he viewed for it's unique shape and reflective qualities.

It was a pleasure to work with The Providence Group and we greatly appreciate their understanding of public art's importance. Whether in business communities, homes, shopping centers or parks, public art is one of the most effective means of beautifying our surroundings and engaging with our neighbors. By finding a common ground through visual culture, we can connect to those around us and strengthen our ties to the community. We continually seek to further our interaction with the local public and businesses, and love to promote Georgia artists!
